DueTime Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 22, 2026
Short version: DueTime is designed as an offline-first personal life event manager. Core event and reminder data is stored on your device. DueTime does not require account creation or cloud sync for reminder tracking.
1. About DueTime
DueTime helps you manage life events such as EMIs, bill payments, document renewals, medication schedules, doctor appointments, birthdays, anniversaries, subscriptions, tasks, and custom reminders.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and what choices you have.
2. Information You Add To The App
When you create events and reminders, you may choose to enter information such as:
- Event names, dates, reminder rules, recurrence schedules, and notes.
- Payment-related details such as bill names, EMI names, amounts, providers, due dates, or fee types.
- Document-related details such as passport, visa, license, or ID renewal dates.
- Health-related details such as medication names, dose times, refill dates, doctor appointments, checkups, or vaccination dates.
- Personal milestone details such as birthdays, anniversaries, travel dates, deadlines, and follow-ups.
This information is used to show your events inside DueTime, calculate timelines, schedule local reminders, update widgets, and support backup or restore features when you choose to use them.
3. Offline-First Storage
DueTime stores your core event and reminder data locally on your device. The app does not require you to create an account and does not require cloud sync to manage reminders.
If you delete the app or clear app data, locally stored event and reminder data may be removed from your device unless you have exported a backup.
4. Notifications
DueTime uses local notifications to remind you about events you create. Notification content may include event details depending on your notification privacy settings.
You can adjust notification privacy in the app to control how much detail appears in notifications, such as full details, category-only reminders, generic reminders, or hiding sensitive category details.
5. App Lock
DueTime may use device-supported authentication, such as your screen lock or biometric authentication, when App Lock is enabled. This is used to protect access to the app interface on your device.
DueTime does not receive or store your biometric data.
6. Backup And Restore
DueTime may let you export an encrypted backup of your app data. Backup files are created only when you choose to export them.
You are responsible for where you store or share exported backup files. Anyone with access to a backup file and its required restore information may be able to restore the data contained in that backup.
7. Purchases
DueTime may offer a one-time Full Access purchase through Google Play Billing. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play. DueTime may receive purchase status information needed to unlock or restore Full Access in the app.
Payment information such as card numbers is handled by Google Play and is not collected or stored by DueTime.
8. Data Shared With Third Parties
DueTime is designed so your core event and reminder data stays on your device unless you choose to export, share, or restore it.
The app may interact with platform services required for normal app functionality, such as Android notifications, Google Play Billing, app updates, or operating system security features. Those services are governed by their own privacy practices.
9. Permissions
DueTime may request permissions needed for features such as notifications, exact alarms, backup file access, widgets, or app security. Permissions are used only to provide the related feature.
You can manage app permissions from your Android device settings. Disabling certain permissions may limit reminder delivery or related functionality.
10. Children's Privacy
DueTime is not directed to children under 13. The app is intended for personal productivity and life event management.
11. Your Choices
- You can add, edit, complete, or delete events inside the app.
- You can change notification privacy settings.

- You can export a backup if you want to keep a copy of your data.
